18" Walnut Folding Chess Case

This folding chess case is excelent for travel or for simply storing away when you're not playing. The chess case is made from solid walnut, walnut, and maple veneers. It opens up to a large 17 1/2" chess board with 1 7/8" squares. The perimeter of the board has a raised frame and an attractive inlay border surrounds the outside of the case. The inside is lined with a soft gold velour material and has elastic straps for securing 32 chess pieces to prevent rattling. Strong magnets keep the case closed.
